When you combine the immune system boosting properties of garlic and some heart-healthy olive oil, you end up with one delicious spread. It’s excellent on roasted vegetables, cooked chicken or fish, as a dip, or added to salads. Enjoy!
6 teaspoons Garlic
4 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon Cumin
1/4 teaspoon Oregano
1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 teaspoon Salt
In a small saucepan, bring garlic and oil to a simmer, cook at a low simmer 9 to 11 minutes, until garlic is soft.
Stir in spices and remove from heat; let cool. Transfer to a mini-food processor and purée until smooth.
Add lemon juice and salt; purée again briefly to combine.
